How My Brain Works
I see a problem.
I see if a solution exists.
If I find a gap, I fill it.
That's how our foundational research happened 4 years ago, and it's how our company works now.
You didn't think that BWT was just a research report, did you? Nope! That was never the whole plan.
The Problems I Keep Coming Back To
People are Exhausted
They've right-sized their expectations to match it. They've decided that the way work feels is just the way work is — and they've quietly become resigned to that.
Hard to Cope
Hope is harder to hold onto than it was a few years ago.
This isn’t Just a Workplace Problem
The conditions people are absorbing every day
— the instability, the distrust, the invisibility — are mentally and physically killing them. That's not an understatement.
Burnout is at epidemic levels
Lack of trust is a powerful undercurrent keeping folks contributing enough to keep their jobs, but not one bit more. And belonging in some cases is a bad word, but where it isn't, it's very tenuous.
I’m listening
I've been keeping an eye on the research and an ear on what's being said.
I don't accept that we are supposed to accept this as just what happens. So, I've been building tools that will provide relief.
Not as research, but as a company.

The Questions We’re Answering
How do we actually support thriving to happen?
What are the conditions?
What needs to change?
Does the answer exist?
Can we operationalize it?
How do we look at it from a leadership and organizational responsibility standpoint?
We're getting ready to release tools designed to do just that.
Triage Meets Transformation
At BWT, we know that OUR work is balancing triage with transformation.
What we're releasing is support for what's most pressing right now — the tactical tools that teams can use right now.
Thriving is still the destination. The path there just looks different than it did a few years ago.
